Do I need a database server or a web host?▾
No. The system uses SQLite, built directly into Node.js 22 — a single file on disk, no MySQL/Postgres to install or pay for. It runs anywhere Docker does.
Can it really run on an old office PC?
Yes. The whole app is one container that comfortably runs on 2 cores and 2 GB of RAM. Most ISPs run it on a repurposed desktop, mini PC or NAS.
Where is my data stored? Do you see it?
Data is stored in a local SQLite file on your hardware or VPS. There is no SaaS backend — your subscriber data never passes through any third-party server.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes — the system runs fully on your LAN. Internet is only required for optional features like SMS, email, Telegram alerts and cloud backups.
Can it send SMS and email to customers?
Yes. SMS via Semaphore, Twilio, ClickSend, Vonage or PhilSMS; email via any SMTP provider (Gmail, Zoho, your own mail server). Invoices and reminders go out automatically.
How do my customers pay and check bills?
They get a self-service portal (mobile-friendly PWA — no app-store install) where they can view invoices, see balances, upload GCash/Maya payment proofs, and open support tickets.
What if I outgrow one office?
Move the container to a $4–6 VPS, point a domain at it, and enable cloud backups. Because your data is a single portable file, migration takes minutes.
